Restaurants You Must Know About In Hong Kong

Eating in Hong Kong is fun and a great experience for the entire family. There are so many different places to eat and it can get quite expensive after a while if you go out to eat on a regular basis. I love eating in Hong Kong because it’s such a diverse city with a wide variety of different restaurants that open their doors every single day. Below are some of my favorite places to eat in Hong Kong.

Eating in Hong Kong

The Wok of Hong Kong: This is one of the simplest ways of eating in Hong Kong, but it’s one of my favorites. The wok is basically a huge and hot table where you can put any type of meat into. You’ll be able to find many different varieties of meats being offered in this restaurant from all around the world including the finest cuts of beef. The dim sum will add to the experience as well as the sweet and sour sauce that is usually offered to accompany it.

Munching Gourmet: This place is located in Central. It offers authentic Chinese dishes at an amazingly affordable price. There are many different types of dishes available and they rotate a different theme every day. You can choose your favorite dish and have it sent to your home every evening. You can also sit down with your friends and have a nice relaxing evening eating here.

Hong Kong Fried Rice: If you love the taste of traditional Chinese food but you don’t like the heavy spice that is typically found in these dishes, then this is the perfect restaurant for you. The staff of this restaurant is very accommodating and are always willing to help you choose what you would like to have served to you. Their specialty dishes include the hot and spicy chicken rice which is always a crowd pleaser. If you are looking for a healthier alternative to the fried fish balls and vegetables, then this is definitely the place for you.

Noodle House: One of the most famous noodle places in town is the Noodle House. This place is located inside a Chinese restaurant called Ma Ka. The Noodle House offers the best tasting noodles in Hong Kong. The noodles are made from corn starch and are filled with meats such as pork and beef. The unique and tasty filling will leave your mouth wanting for more.

The Ramen Shop: This restaurant serves two types of noodles – the song and the ramyumu. The soba is a wheat-flour mixture that is used to make noodles while the ramyumu is a meat that is cooked in a different way from the regular beef brisket noodles. The ramyumu has more of a sweet flavor so if you are a non-vegetarian, then you might want to avoid this restaurant. If you do decide to go here, be sure to try out the barbecue pork ramyumu!
